Interport Finance, a DeFi protocol offering fast cross-chain swaps and bridge solutions, has joined the Chainlink BUILD program.
The project will leverage Chainlink‘s oracle services and technical support to bolster its ecosystem. Key areas of focus will include broader DeFi growth and cross-chain swaps adoption, the Interport Finance team announced on Thursday.
“We’re excited to join Chainlink BUILD, which will give us advanced access to Chainlink’s industry-leading platform and help accelerate the growth of Interport Finance. By developing secure onchain financial solutions and aligning our dynamic community with the Chainlink ecosystem, we are helping to drive widespread adoption of blockchain technology,” Interport Finance co-founder DSB said.
Interport Finance eyes DeFi ecosystem growth
Joining the BUILD program sees Interport adding to the Chainlink solutions the protocol already taps into – including Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain transfers and Chainlink Price Feeds for real-world data.
“Our participation in BUILD furthers our integration with Chainlink, with added benefits of priority support from the Chainlink ecosystem, increased access to key Web3 services, and stronger alignment between the Chainlink and Interport communities,” the platform wrote.
This integration brings Interport closer to its mission of unifying the fragmented blockchain space and pushing cross-chain boundaries to benefit the broader DeFi ecosystem. BUILD will help maximize the potential for achieving this via Chainlink’s security and reliable oracle infrastructure.
Interport’s product suite comprises three products – cross-chain swaps that allow users to trade tokens on any blockchain network; a bridge that allows for asset transfers without need for extra trading fees; and a gas transfer feature that allows users to benefit from multi-chain native token refills.
As part of the integration, Interport Finance will avail 5% of the total supply of the native token ITP to Chainlink service providers, including stakers. Interport will provide the network fees to incentivize the Chainlink community.
