CryptoPunks led CryptoSlam’s non-fungible token (NFT) sales chart Tuesday with over US$3.58 million in sales.

The collection’s sales volume rose from around US$825,000 the previous day to lead the daily chart for the second consecutive day.

But it’s not all great news for CryptoPunks as NFT investor Deepak Thapliyal announced the sale of Punk #5822 for an undisclosed amount.

Community members estimate that the rare digital asset was sold for around 5,000 Ether (US$12.8 million).

Thapliyal bought CryptoPunk #5822 for US$24 million in 2022.

The second-ranking collection for the day was Guild of Guardians Heroes on the Immutable network, with sales reaching US$435,868 across 1,740 transactions.

Polygon-based Fashion Girl, which debuted over the weekend recorded US$430,003 in sales for third place.

At fourth, Solana’s DogeZuki Collection recorded sales of US$345,950, while Bored Ape Yacht Club trailed at fifth with US$330,472.

Solana Monkey Business dropped off the top five with US$281,254 in daily sales.

Ethereum blockchain, where CryptoPunks resides, reported a total sales volume of US$6.5 million on the same day, marking a significant increase from the previous day’s US$3.59 million.

Ethereum led all blockchains in NFT sales, with half of the sales volume coming from CryptoPunks.
