The past 24 hours have seen a marked surge in crypto trading activity, highlighted by a 4% rise in the total cryptocurrency market capitalization.
This wave of renewed investor interest has pushed several altcoins into the spotlight, with Axelar (AXL), Hyperliquid (HYPE), and Keeta (KTA) emerging as today’s top trending assets.
Axelar (AXL)
AXL has surged 85% to a monthly high of $0.59 today following its listing on Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. The move has ignited a fresh wave of demand, with the token’s daily trading volume skyrocketing nearly 4,000% to $332 million.
When both price and trading volume spike, it typically signals strong investor interest and heightened market activity. This often reflects growing confidence in the asset or anticipation of further gains.
If this trend continues, AXL could extend its rally and trade at the $0.60 price region.
However, if profit-taking strengthens, AXL could shed recent gains and plummet to $0.47.
Hyperliquid (HYPE)
HYPE, the governance token of the decentralized perpetuals exchange Hyperliquid, is another altcoin trending today. It currently trades at $39.42, rising 11% over the past day.
On the daily chart, its climbing Relative Strength Index (RSI) confirms the buying pressure among HYPE traders. As of this writing, the momentum indicator is at 69.01.
The RSI indicator measures an asset’s overbought and oversold market conditions. It ranges between 0 and 100. Values above 70 suggest that the asset is overbought and due for a price decline, while values under 30 indicate that the asset is oversold and may witness a rebound.
At 69.01 and growing, buying activity exceeds selloffs among HYPE market participants. If this continues, the token’s price could revisit its all-time high of $42.25.
On the other hand, if demand stalls, HYPE could fall to $37.59.
Keeta (KTA)
KTA is another altcoin trending today. It has bucked the broader market rally to record a 19% price dip over the past day. At press time, the altcoin trades at $1.31, oscillating between the resistance at $1.40 and the support floor formed at $1.20.
If the selloffs continue and KTA’s price decline deepens, it could test this support floor. If it fails to hold, the price drop continues, and KTA’s value could fall to $1.16.
Conversely, if the bulls regain dominance, they could push the token past the $1.40 resistance and toward its all-time high of $1.72.
