Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced that it has added Core (CORECHAIN) to its listing roadmap.

Core, a layer-1 blockchain network, will be supported on its native network on Coinbase.

Core describes itself as a blockchain compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and can run Ethereum smart contracts and decentralized applications.

The Core network is powered by the “Satoshi Plus” consensus mechanism, which secures the network through a combination of authorized Bitcoin mining hash and authorized Proof-of-Stake (DPoS).

The mainnet of the altcoin was launched in January 2023. Core, the 65th largest cryptocurrency in the world, is not listed on Binance as of the time of this writing. It is traded on other major exchanges, Bybit and OKX.

Although Coinbase’s addition of Core to its listing roadmap does not guarantee a listing, so far there has been no altcoin on this list that has not been listed yet.
