President-elect Donald Trump is set to meet with Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, on Monday. According to insiders, the two will talk about potential personnel choices for Trump’s second term in office.
This will be the first time Trump and Brian have sat down together since Election Day. The timing isn’t surprising, as Trump is in the middle of building out his cabinet and finalizing top positions in his administration.
This comes when some of the president’s closest advisers are throwing their weight behind Kevin Warsh, a former Federal Reserve governor, as a strong contender for Treasury Secretary.
Sources say Warsh has been invited to Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida estate and the nerve center of his transition operations, for an upcoming interview with the president-elect.
