Cronos, a prominent layer-1 blockchain, has announced its integration with the community-building platform Galxe, according to the information shared with Finbold on April 22.

The integration comes with Cronos’ Spring Odyssey campaign set to reward users with a whopping $35,000 in prizes.

The campaign kicks off on April 22nd and will run for six weeks, concluding on May 31st.

The Spring Odyssey campaign

The Spring Odyssey campaign marks Cronos’ first major initiative with Galxe.

Thirty projects have eagerly signed up to participate, covering a wide range of areas including decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and gaming.

Notable Cronos-based projects joining the fray include Veno, Orby, Croskulls, CorgiAI, and Bored Candy.

Participants in the Spring Odyssey campaign will engage in a variety of pre-defined social and on-chain tasks to earn prizes, including tokens and NFTs.

New activities on Galxe

This initiative is the first of its kind on the Galxe platform as well, and it aims to encourage interaction with a diverse range of blockchain projects, focusing on Web3.

Different projects will be presented every ten days, presenting participants with challenges such as swapping, staking, lending, and borrowing.

In addition to token rewards, participants will also be able to earn unique NFTs for completing quests tied to each themed week.

This reward system is designed to promote active engagement and enrich the general user experience across the Cronos network.

The growth of Galxe

By gamifying interaction with Cronos dapps, the Spring Odyssey campaign seeks to highlight the numerous projects and use cases available on Galxe, which boasts over 14 million users.

Through its reward-based loyalty programs, Galxe has contributed to the growth of a number of blockchains and facilitated over 4,600 partnerships.

The Spring Odyssey campaign aims to draw attention to the Cronos blockchain while educating users on the myriad opportunities it offers for engaging with DeFi, gaming, NFTs, and memecoins.
