Adam Back is a world-renowned British cryptographer, cypherpunk and crypto industry figure from the United Kingdom.
Adam Back developed Hashcash which is used as the mining function in Bitcoin. He made a great contribution to the Bitcoin development and Bitcoin white paper.
He co-founded blockchain tech company Blockstream which provides leading blockchain technologies in 2014. In 2020, Blockstream launched Liquid.net, a one-stop-shop for Liquid Network information and statistics. Liquid Network offers its services to many platforms, such as BTCPAY, LAVA. Blockstream also launched the Blockstream Scam Database to fight scammers who hijack the Blockstream brand.
