According to Bloomberg, the Hong Kong regulator is in talks to allow spot Ethereum ETF issuers to allow ETH staking.

The staking feature included in the Ethereum ETF applications made in the USA has always been a matter of controversy regarding approval.

Because the SEC was skeptical about the staking feature in Ethereum. At this point, the applicant companies updated their applications by removing the staking feature, which the SEC was suspicious of, from their ETF applications.

However, Hong Kong took bolder steps than the USA and approved spot Ethereum ETFs before the USA. Now, it is negotiating with issuer companies about adding the staking feature to spot ETFs.

Following this news, the ETH price mobilized and rose to 3860 dollars.
