Shiba Inu and XRP Make Pippen’s Bull Run Watchlist
Notably, famous NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen joined the trend, listing the crypto assets he is closely monitoring. Besides Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, Pippen stated that he is keeping an eye on Shiba Inu and XRP for this bull run.
Other crypto assets he is closely watching include Cardano, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, Chainlink, Dogecoin, and Game5Ball. Pippen expects these crypto assets, including Shiba Inu and XRP, to shine in this bull run.
Pippen Bullish on SHIB and XRP
Meanwhile, the NBA Hall of Famer had previously expressed optimism about the future of XRP and Shiba Inu. In March, Pippen expressed his bullishness on XRP, emphasizing his confidence in the asset’s prospects.
In the debate he sparked last year, many of his followers suggested that XRP could outperform Ethereum during the 2025 bull run.
Similarly, Pippen holds Shiba Inu in high regard. In May, when he declared that Altcoin Season had begun, he once again highlighted Shiba Inu as a key token on his watchlist.
Experts Set New ATH Targets for Shiba Inu and XRP
However, Shiba Inu has not experienced a major rally since Pippen’s declaration of Altcoin Season. In fact, SHIB’s price has dropped by 21.4% over the past month, currently trading at $0.00001121.
Likewise, XRP, which surged over 500% between November 2024 and January 2025, has declined by 9.02% in the past 30 days, now selling at $2.09.
Despite this recent underperformance, many investors still believe that XRP and SHIB will reach new all-time highs (ATH) during the 2025 bull season.
Specifically, analysts have projected that SHIB will trade above the $0.0001 mark this year. Commentators like Javon Marks and Eunice Wong are championing this prediction.
For XRP, analysts like Altcoin Moe believe XRP could soar to an all-time high of $5 by December 2025. Meanwhile, some commentators, such as Dustin Layton, consider $5 too conservative. In particular, Layton is calling for a minimum price target of $50 for XRP.
