NetVRk has launched the alpha version of its AI-powered metaverse, harnessing the stunning graphics of Unreal Engine 5. This cross-platform platform integrates advanced AI technology, enabling users to create immersive virtual worlds and interact with intelligent characters.

With the introduction of a Language Model (LLM), NetVRk enhances user experiences by allowing players to forge relationships with AI companions that can be customized, owned, and traded as NFTs. While metaverse hype peaked in 2021, NetVRk remains committed to pushing boundaries, focusing on user engagement and dynamic interactions.

In a recent interview, co-founder Michael Katseli emphasized the platform’s multiplayer gameplay and its incorporation of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) based on blockchain technology. “We’re making it accessible to Web2 audiences,” he noted, highlighting the project’s focus on high-quality graphics that differentiate it from previous metaverse attempts.

Next-Gen NPCs and User Empowerment

NetVRk’s metaverse features innovative non-player characters (NPCs) endowed with emotional intelligence, short- and long-term memory, and real-time reactions. Katseli described this as a step toward creating NPCs that are aware of their environment and capable of meaningful interactions.
“We’ll enable users to leverage their NFTs within a rich gaming ecosystem.”

Players will have the opportunity to monetize their assets in a vibrant, user-friendly environment, akin to a massive version of Fortnite.

A New Standard for User Engagement

Based in Glendale, California, NetVRk aims to tackle common issues in the metaverse by integrating AI characters from the start. This move is designed to create a more interactive and engaging digital space, according to Katseli.

The platform allows users to buy virtual land and build anything they can imagine, powered by an unlimited creation engine. Players can craft immersive experiences, whether it’s relaxing yacht trips or intense shooter battles, blurring the lines between reality and imagination.

NetVRk is setting new industry standards by seamlessly blending AI, user-generated content, and Web3 functionalities. “The alpha release will redefine user engagement, offering entertainment alongside emotional and educational support,” said Linus Chee, CEO of NetVRk. The platform’s token-powered marketplace will allow users to enhance their AI companions, tailoring their capabilities and purchasing digital assets.

Additionally, NetVRk is integrating GameFi elements, focusing on multiplayer systems that support cross-chain blockchain functionalities, encouraging play-and-earn competition within its gaming arena.

Fostering a Creative Community

The platform aims to democratize content creation, making it as simple as inputting prompts to generate monetizable experiences. Katseli envisions a thriving community where both gaming and business ventures flourish through user-generated content.

To enhance engagement, NetVRk plans to host social media campaigns, rewarding users for sharing their interactions with AI NPCs with $NETVR tokens and NFTs. This approach not only enriches the gaming experience but also strengthens community ties.

Resilience and Future Aspirations

NetVRk’s Mine Runner and Metaverse AI Alpha signify a new chapter in play-and-earn gaming, combining cutting-edge AI with blockchain technology. With a team of about 14 people and $10 million raised from various investors, the company has already generated over $20 million in revenue since its inception during the early days of virtual reality.
“As a businessman, you can’t be fixated on one plan; flexibility is key.”

During a demo, Katseli showcased the expansive virtual world, allowing users to create avatars, switch characters, and connect Web3 wallets for NFT transactions. The company plans to provide tools for user-generated content while establishing a robust foundation for the metaverse.

“We want to create a real-time social experience with high fidelity,” he said, hinting at the various biomes designed for different user groups. Ultimately, Katseli envisions a user-friendly interface that simplifies creation, potentially allowing users to generate environments through simple text prompts.

As NetVRk embarks on this ambitious journey, it aims to redefine how players engage with virtual worlds, paving the way for a new era of interactive entertainment.
