    Ammon Simon has been appointed Chief Counsel for the US Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, according to his LinkedIn announcement.

    He also worked as Banking Counsel for Senator Ben Sasse, where he provided guidance on financial market regulations.

    Simon holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Wheaton College, where he was an FPE Fellow studying faith, politics, and economics.

    The Senate Banking Committee is currently working on legislative initiatives to integrate digital assets into traditional financial systems.

    Simon’s appointment comes as the committee addresses regulatory frameworks for the crypto sector.
