One of the most effective ways to track the pace of cryptocurrency project development is GitHub data, which shows how much developer communities contribute to which projects. According to the latest weekly statistics, projects such as Cardano, Flow, and Internet Computer have been at the center of developer interest.

The most committed projects based on main kernel repo activity on GitHub are listed as follows:

  1. Cardano (ADA) – 432
  2. Internet Computer (ICP) – 275
  3. Flow (FLOW) – 267
  4. Ethereum (ETH) – 262
  5. Tezos (XTZ) – 170
  6. Hedera (HBAR) – 165
  7. Arbitrum (ARB) – 146
  8. Polkadot (DOT) – 138
  9. Chainlink (LINK) – 109
  10. Scale (SKL) – 78
  11. Cosmos (ATOM) – 70
  12. Stellar (XLM) – 65
  13. MultiverseX (EGLD) – 59
  14. Audius (AUDIO) – 55
  15. Osmosis (OSMO) – 55

Cardano finished the week with the highest core development activity with 432 commits. Flow and ICP were also among the prominent projects with 267 and 275 commits respectively.

The projects that stood out in terms of weekly active developer numbers were:

  1. Flow – 64 developers
  2. HBAR – 69 developers
  3. Cardano – 62 developers
  4. Tezos – 37 developers
  5. Arbitrum – 31 developers

In broader ecosystem-based statistics, Ethereum maintained its leadership:

  1. Ethereum (ETH) – 24,655 commits / 1,710 developers
  2. Scale (SKL) – 14,955 commits / 33 developers
  3. Cosmos (ATOM) – 4,055 commits / 473 developers
  4. Internet Computer (ICP) – 2,715 commits / 246 developers
  5. Bitcoin (BTC) – 2,354 commits / 378 developers
