As per data from DefiLlama, Ethereum has dominated the blockchains based on total value locked this week, with Solana, Tron, and Bitcoin following it. In DefiLlama’s list of top 10 chains by TVL, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, Tron, and Ethereum show substantial weekly gains.
Ethereum Dominates Blockchains in Terms of TVL at $66.647B
Ethereum has taken the position of a standout performer among the blockchains over the past seven days. The TVL of the blockchain has reached $66.647B. This figure accounts for a +4.42% growth throughout the week. The 2nd prominent blockchain in DefiLlama’s list is Solana. The blockchain saw its TVL touching $11.844B in total, denoting a -8.26% decrease during the past week.
Subsequently, Tron took the 3rd place as the TVL thereof has attained the $7.451B mark. The respective value indicates a staggering +7.38% weekly increase in Tron’s total value locked. Bitcoin succeeds as the top 4th blockchain in terms of total value locked. The TVL of the platform has touched the $7.201B spot during this week. Overall, it recorded a +0.71% surge in total value locked. Following that, Binance Smart Chain stands in the 5th position with a $5.537B in its TVL. This displays a -1.61% decrease throughout the recent seven days.
Hyperliquid Comes Last on List with TVL Reaching $1.316B
The 6th position is occupied by Base as the blockchain’s TVL rose to $3.718B. In the recent week, it beheld a +4.64% in its cumulative TVL. The list moves on to include Arbitrum in the 7th rank with a $3.058B in TVL, showing a +4.47% weekly rise. However, Sui’s $1.785B accounts for a -8.28% weekly dip. On the other hand, Avalanche has secured a +6.52% weekly TVL growth to reach $1.479B. Nonetheless, with a massive decrease of -15.65%, Hyperliquid’s TVL has reached $1.316B.
