Wormhole, a leading interoperability platform, is expanding its multichain ecosystem by integrating with Karak Network’s K2 blockchain, an L2 built on the OP Stack. This integration allows Karak to access liquidity and users from over 30 leading blockchain ecosystems. It will enhance its vision of universal security. Karak is thrilled to incorporate Wormhole as its first Distributed Secure Service (DSS).

Karak Leverages Wormhole for Secure Cross-Chain Transfers
The compatibility with Wormhole enables the safe and seamless messaging, tokens, and data swaps across the Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and Injective chains. Accordingly, Karak plans to capitalize on Wormhole to bring about strong and secure trust networks from inception. This also makes the process less expensive and more convenient for new protocols.
Karak serves three primary groups including Stakers, Operators, and Developers. For Stakers, Karak gives them an opportunity to offer cryptoeconomic security with any asset and get the extra rewards which are network fees aside from the utilization of their natively stored assets. This approach increases the benefits that users gain from participating in the Staker project and encourages its participation.
Partners to Advance Secure Blockchain Solutions
Wormhole is developing two key Distributed Secure Services (DSS) on Karak. These are known as the Decentralized Validator Network for Wormhole Native Token Transfers (NTT) and the Decentralized Relay Network. A DSS is a distributed software service developed on Karak and relying on restaking of assets to offer further economic buffer and capacity to service within the Karak ecosystem. DSS offers simple building blocks. These are highly flexible and can be tailored to construct various forms of applications.
This strategic integration makes more possible Karak’s vision of security for everyone. These features enable Wormhole to impact the future architecture of Karak by providing developers with new solutions.
