Argentina’s unconventional president, Javier Milei, has followed Donald Trump’s lead and issued a memecoin for himself called LIBRA, according to a post he shared on X.
It seems that 86% of the token’s total supply is held by the development team or whales, and there is also the possibility that the Milei X account was hacked and a fake token was issued. Therefore, we will not include the contract address here.
In his statement from his X account, Milei introduced the token launch as follows:
“Liberal Argentina is growing. This special project will be dedicated to stimulating the growth of the Argentine economy by providing funding to small Argentine companies and enterprises. The world wants to invest in Argentina.”
