BNB Chain Expands BNB AI Hack to BNB Hack

News RoomBy News RoomJune 6, 2025No Comments4 Mins Read

BNB Chain has launched a bold initiative that redefines what a hackathon can be. Dubbed simply BNB Hack, this event is an evolved version of the successful BNB AI Hack, which began in February 2025. But now, the scope is broader, the tracks more ambitious, and the opportunities more valuable.

Let’s break down everything you need to know…

    A Hackathon Without Deadlines

Most hackathons push developers into a tight 48- or 72-hour sprint, only to burn out participants and leave most projects abandoned. BNB Hack breaks that mold. It’s open year-round, allowing builders to submit when ready. Winners are announced every two weeks.

This structure encourages thoughtful development over speed. Projects can refine, test, and deploy real solutions. And the results are already showing—13 standout projects have emerged in the first quarter alone.

    What You Can Build

The hackathon focuses on four innovation tracks that blend blockchain with real-world application:

    • AI (Artificial Intelligence): Build intelligent agents and automated systems that integrate with the BNB Chain ecosystem. From DeFi bots to AI-driven governance, the field is wide open.
    • DeSoc (Decentralized Society): Reimagine social infrastructure with decentralized identities, messaging protocols, social DAOs, and more. Think user-owned social graphs and reputation tools onchain.
    • DeSci (Decentralized Science): Reinvent the scientific process. Projects in this track create decentralized launchpads for research, IP management platforms, and verification tools to promote reproducibility and transparency in science.
    • DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks): Connect blockchain to real-world infrastructure—sensors, devices, and systems that run on distributed networks. Think smart cities and decentralized utilities.

BNB Hack’s mission is to bring blockchain closer to real-world use—and each of these tracks is deeply rooted in that goal.

    How to Participate

BNB Hack is open-entry. Submit whenever you’re ready. But the earlier, the better—submissions may close at any time.

    To qualify:

    • Projects must be deployed on opBNB or BSC testnet/mainnet.
    • Open-source code is required, with visible commit history.
    • Include a clear roadmap, documentation, a live demo, and a tweet tagging @BNBChain and #BNBHack.

    Winners are eligible for:

    • Up to $10,000 in cash.
    • A $50,000 Kickstart package.
    • Mentorship, marketing, and demo opportunities.
    • Entry into the MVB (Most Valuable Builder) program.

Demo sessions are streamed on BNB Chain’s YouTube and X channels, giving developers meaningful exposure.

Prize Tiers: What You Stand to Gain

According to BNB Chain’s prize structure:

    • Tier 1: $10,000 + interview for MVB + BIA Demo + $50K Kickstart + demo session
    • Tier 2: $7,000 + demo session
    • Tier 3: $3,000 + demo session
    • Tier 4 (Potential Award): Earned progressively with ongoing mentorship, product growth, and ecosystem contributions

This isn’t just a payout. It’s a long-term relationship with the BNB Chain ecosystem.

Scoring Criteria: What Judges Look For

To increase your chances, make sure your project meets these benchmarks:

    • Verified Contracts and transparent open-source code
    • Clear roadmap and documentation
    • Strong community engagement and user feedback
    • A business model showing real-world potential
    • A standout technical design

Failing to prove novelty, build usability, or reach functional milestones can reduce your chances of selection.

    From Submissions to Exchanges

Unlike many blockchain initiatives stuck in the idea phase, BNB Hack winners are already pushing real products.

Tutorial Agent, for example, launched as an AI assistant to help users explore BNB Chain. It’s now listed on Binance, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate.io, and over 30 exchanges. It’s no longer a hackathon project—it’s a full-fledged product.

    Other notable projects include:

    • BINK AI: An AI operating system for DeFi that automates yield farming and analytics.
    • Botzilla: A trading tool that lets users execute trades directly through X (formerly Twitter).
    • Tokrio: Deep learning tools that power automated crypto trading.
    • Stitch AI & Kudo: Two projects working on decentralized memory layers and verifiable AI promises, moving us toward more accountable intelligent agents.

Partners like APRO, ASI Alliance, Netmind, USDX, and Solidus AI Tech are backing the hackathon. These organizations are contributing mentorship, infrastructure, and visibility.

There’s also a dedicated Discord community, workshops, and 24/7 support. Whether you’re solo or working with a team, you have access to all the tools you need to succeed.

    BNB Token Strategy

The momentum doesn’t end with the hackathon. BNB Chain recently burned 1.57 million BNB in its 31st quarterly auto-burn—around $916 million in tokens permanently removed from supply. This long-term deflationary strategy aims to bring circulating supply down to 100 million.

Meanwhile, a new partnership with MEXC Exchange, which has over 36 million users, means BNB Chain projects are getting fast-tracked to listings and global visibility via the MEXC Alpha Ranking.
